The Holiday Season at the Bay Club

Friday, 11. December 2009 22:57

christmas wreathThe spirit is joyously bubbling over at the Bay Club at Mattapoisett this season.  Foremost, the beautiful tree, decked out by local florist Chad Micheal Peters in the Sports & Activities Center is brimming with lovely  gifts donated by our generous members in support of local children.

John McCormack, the Bay Club’s Director of  Cultural Activities, hosted a holiday wreath class to help members personalize their own special wreath to use in their homes.   As always The Bay Club provides the materials and members are encouraged to bring special elements that will personalize their work.  It is a social time of collaboration and has become a tradition with many members.

The annual holiday party will once again coincide with the Pro Shop Sale.  The sale hasn’t quite reached the level of frenzy as Filene’s on Wedding Gown Sale Day; however you would be surprised at the bargains and enthusiasm members bring to the event.

Hope to see you round the tree this season.  To arrange a personal tour, send Dave Andrews an email, he would be happy to arrange a meeting.
